FEATURE PROJECT

Hyleman's Humble Playground

The Focus of Our Efforts

S.I.L.A.S. Steps is proud to partner with Cunningham Recreation, a family owned company headquartered in Charlotte, NC.   Cunningham Recreation is a leading commercial playground equipment supplier in many areas across the United States.  They are experts in designing and building commercial playgrounds and have been a dedicated resource for Hyleman’s Humble Playground.

Play 4 ALL is the social impact arm of Cunningham Recreation and at no cost has assisted us with fundraising strategies; providing guidance, resources and tools that will help us cross the finish line to meet our fundraising goals.

The idea for an accessible, inclusive playground in Gaffney, South Carolina was born out of love. All children should be able to play with abandon, no matter what their abilities. Play is critical to social and emotional development, and the overall happiness of young people.

We at S.I.L.A.S. Steps have endeavored to create a common play space in Gaffney, South Carolina, that fosters our core principles. Generous donations from like-minded community members have given us a big step forward toward this goal - but we still need more to see this beautiful idea come to fruition!
